Why does Amazon KDP reject my cover PDF?
The #1 reason for KDP cover rejection is incorrect spine width or missing the 0.125 inch bleed. Amazon calculates the spine based on the exact page count and paper type. If your PDF is even 1mm off, their automated check rejects the file.
Can I put text on the book spine?
Amazon requires books to have at least 79 to 80 pages (depending on paper type) before allowing text on the spine. If your book is thinner than 0.178 inches, any text will be cut off or wrap around to the front/back cover.
How do I use this template in Canva or Photoshop?

What is the barcode safe area?
